Solar photovoltaic (PV) power usage has grown, applied in both residential and commercial settings, and even aerospace equipment. This paper discusses a new voltage sensorless model predictive control (VSPC) system designed to maximize power harvesting from solar panels for electric vehicle (EV) charging. Traditional methods for maximizing power point tracking (MPPT) face challenges due to the nonlinear characteristics of PV arrays, requiring sophisticated techniques to optimize power output efficiently.
