Chemical doping is essential for enhancing the performance of organic semiconductors (OSCs) by altering their charge-carrier concentration and transport properties. Traditionally, this involves using strong, reactive dopants that can be consumed during the doping process, which can lead to stability issues and by-products. This paper introduces a new concept called photocatalytic doping, which uses air as a weak oxidant (p-dopant) and operates at room temperature, making the process more accessible and less reactive.
