This research article focuses on a new strategy for improving the efficiency of hydrogen production through water electrolysis. Green hydrogen is an essential part of the sustainable energy future, produced by splitting water using renewable energy sources. The key challenge in this process is the Hydrogen Evolution Reaction (HER), which requires effective catalysts to reduce protons into hydrogen gas (H₂) efficiently. The fast generation of hydrogen nanobubbles at the catalyst surface often blocks active sites, hindering the process. This study introduces a novel approach to manage these nanobubbles using nanoscale grade-separation with sub-5 nm pores.
