Hydrogen’s Path

Hydrogen is gaining attention due to increasing greenhouse gas emissions and the rise in renewable energy usage. It can balance energy systems and support decarbonization in industries and transport. This paper discusses different hydrogen production methods, their economic and environmental impacts, and barriers to fuel cell vehicle adoption. Hydrogen is categorized by color based on production methods: grey, blue, and green. Grey hydrogen is the cheapest but has high emissions, while green hydrogen is key for a sustainable future.
