Quantum Memory Entanglement Across Cities

This research article presents the creation of memory–memory entanglement in a metropolitan quantum network. The experiment involved three independent quantum memory nodes, spread over distances up to 12.5 kilometers, and a central server node. The significance of this research lies in its demonstration of a scalable quantum network architecture, moving beyond two-node setups towards a practical multi-node network.
