Smart Cost Optimisation for Microgrids

This study focuses on the economic scheduling of microgrids (MGs) using renewable energy sources like solar and wind power. Microgrids can operate independently or with the main grid, offering flexibility and reliability in energy supply. The research aims to optimize microgrid operations, reducing costs and ensuring system reliability. It introduces a model incorporating demand response (DR) programs and an improved water wave optimization (WWO) algorithm.
