Student Beauty and Grades

This article discusses the impact of student facial attractiveness on academic outcomes in different forms of instruction. The author uses data from engineering students in Sweden to examine the role of physical appearance in academic success. The study finds that when education is in-person, attractive students receive higher grades in non-quantitative subjects, where teachers tend to interact more with students compared to quantitative courses.
